Our toothpastes aren’t just packed with natural goodness - they’re totally free from ingredients like SLS, parabens, triclosan, dyes, artificial flavours and preservatives.

Your toothpaste doesn’t need to contain potentially harmful ingredients to work effectively - that’s what Grants is all about!

Certified Organic Aloe Vera

With its anti-inflammatory properties, the certified organic Aloe Vera in many of Grants toothpastes helps to soothe and heal teeth and gums. 

Mint Oil

Mint Oil not only freshens breath, it also helps to fight bacteria and promotes oral hygiene. The Mint in Grants toothpaste is also grown locally in Victoria. 
Certified Organic Tea Tree Oil

Certified Organic Tea Tree Oil, with its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and deodorising qualities help soothe your mouth and keep it free from decay-causing bacteria. 

Propolis

Studies show that Propolis is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and packed with antioxidants. Bees use Propolis to make and repair their hives, and it may also prevent the formation of calcium phosphate, the main component of dental plaque.
Cinnamon Oil

Cinnamon Oilhas antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, that help to reduce bacteria, plaquebuild upand reduce gum inflammation.

Neem Oil

Neem Oil's antibacterial and antifungal properties can help prevent gum inflammation and help reduce the nasty bacteria that cause tooth decay. 
Natural Herbal Extract

Many of Grants toothpaste contain a specially crafted Natural Herbal Extract.This unique blend of naturally cleansing herbs like mint oil, eucalyptus oil, cardamom and clary sage has been selected to not only make our toothpaste taste great, but for its oral hygiene benefits too. 

Natural Strawberry or Blueberry Flavour

Our natural strawberry and blueberry flavours are kid friendly and free from nasties.
Baking Soda

Baking Soda is a natural way to whiten teeth. It’s mild abrasiveness and absorbent properties help gently lift and remove stubborn stains without harming tooth enamel. 

Calcium Carbonate

Calcium Carbonate to gently polish.  Found in nature in the form of limestone, the mild abrasivity of Calcium Carbonate helps to clean, remove stains and debris, and polish the teeth. 
Hydroxyapatite

Hydroxyapatite is a form of calcium that makes up the hard structural parts of bones and teeth. Hydroxyapatite helps to:

  • Remineralise teeth
  • Strengthen tooth enamel
  • Whitening and brighten teeth

The Hydroxyapatite in Grants Whitening +HA is a non-nano grad of hydroxyapatite and is of mineral origin.

Xylitol

Xylitol, with its powerful anti-bacterial properties, helps to reduce plaque & bacteria. Kids Blueberry Burst & Strawberry Surprise contains extra xylitol to boost its cavity-fighting power. 
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate

The Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate used in Grants toothpastes is of plant and vegetable origin. It provides foam during brushing and helps to disperse the toothpaste in the mouth, enhancing the overall cleaning experience.  It also helps to break up plaque and debris on the teeth and reduces the growth of bacteria in the mouth.Note that this ingredient is different to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) which is a surfactant and often derived from a synthetic source.

Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate

Derived from fatty acid in coconut, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate provides foam during brushing, breaks up plaque and loosens food particles attached to the teeth. It also helps to reduce the growth of bacteria in the mouth.
Potassium Chloride

 Potassium Chlorideis a compound that occurs natural as the mineral Sylvite. It plays a big role in reducing the effects of dental nerve pain and can be found in nearly all of Grants toothpastes. 

Hydrated Silica

Hydrated Silica helps to remove plaque and whiten teeth. 
Potassium Nitrate

Potassium Nitrate helps to reduce teeth sensitivity by blocking pain signals and calming the nerves inside the teeth.
